It’s been a while since our last blog post, and we have been oh so busy since!

First off, we are now 1 year old (yay!). At our first birthday we were able to celebrate with over 50 of our customers, family and peers. It was a great event, which ran smoothly (for the most part) thanks to the amazing help we had from Johnny, Robbie, Ross, Robert and Sam. I would also like to say a big thank you to Lewis from Campfire for taking some fantastic event photos.

The weekend of our party also marked the launch of our latest App for Scott and his team at the Edinburgh Capitals. Their app, “Caps Hockey”, was the first project we ever worked on together as a team and it felt great to be able to celebrate the release with them. Scott was kind enough to have us present the Man Of The Match at the game on the day of the apps launch! With over 700 downloads since release it has been a great success.

Over the past while we have been looking at how to grow and expand our business and with the success of Caps Hockey we are now preparing to expand into SaaS with our new product, YourFanApp ( This product is currently in development and we hope to have some exciting news in the coming months.

Another area we are focusing on at the moment is accessibility. We have just started work on an application for a brilliant company called GoodFoodTalks, a company dedicated to making restaurant menus accessible to those with visual impairments and dyslexia. Accessibility is incredibly important consideration in mobile technology and we are looking forward to learning and embracing the necessary tools, systems and standards for use in all future work.

We are also excited about the launch another app, Life-Pod. Linda Fay, a professional de-clutterer, has been working with hoarders in a bid to help them stop acquiring. Hoarding is now officially recognised as a mental health condition and Linda is at the forefront of this movement. Her mobile app is cross-platform is geared towards helping hoarders tackle the issue at the root by tracking their acquisitions, allowing them to set goals and share their data with therapists. This app was released on the 4th of November as part of mental health week.

Asides from all the hard work we have done, we were also nominated for WeDO “Best new start business of the year” award, and made it all the way to the semi-finals! We have also just found out that Josh is a finalist for the pitching contest at We Are The Future’s Start Up Summit 2014. This is another incredibly exciting opportunity and we are looking forward to pitching in November.

Finally, we will be attending the 2nd Power of Youth – The Naked Entrepreneur weekend, following up from last time, and continuing to develop our business ideologies and beliefs. We have found that this is incredibly important as it helps us to reflect, plan ahead and ultimately defines how we conduct business.

That’s all for now, but watch this space for latest app releases and updates!
