React NativeMobile

Like React, React Native has been developed by Facebook. React Native uses the same fundamental UI building blocks as regular iOS and Android apps, but the code is written in JavaScript.

    Benefits of this technology

Unlike hybrid cross-platform frameworks such as PhoneGap, which renders code via WebView, React Native does it using native APIs.

    • JavaScript remains one of the fastest and widely-used programming languages and it is the only one you need to create React Native app
    • Renders some code components with native APIs
    • Active and supportive community of developers, Facebook uses React Native in multiple production apps and will continue investing in React Native.
    • Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb, UberEats are just a few apps taking advantage of React Native possibilities

    Use Cases

React Native is now a proven technology used by large companies as well as small startups. It gives you option to concurrently create apps that will work on different platforms, significantly reducing time and cost needed for development and maintenance.

Where we would not use it

For applications requiring heavy computation, you’re better off sticking to native development. Some of the most up to date APIs may be unavailable as it takes a while for React Native to fully synchronise with iOS or Android SDKs updates.
