It’s our cake day! It’s quite unbelievable that it’s been a year since we threw our first birthday party at the Melting Pot. Thinking back on this year, it’s been huge.
There may have been a few hurdles along the way (luckily no tantrums yet), but we are proud of how much we have achieved since this time last year.
Over the course of the year we became finalists in the Converge challenge, pitched at the Startup Summit, gave lectures at Edinburgh Napier University, attended multiple POY events. We have just joined Thrive for business, and hope to attend and participate in many more events throughout the next year. You never know we might also host a few!
Lara participated in the inaugural CanDO SCALE program, where she was taught by world leading business experts. Read more about that here.
We have also been busy developing fantastic solutions with a whole host of brilliant people. You can find all of these on our case studies and projects pages.
Since last year, we launched our largest project to date, the Dirt School Digital platform. This project was one of the first projects we took on, and it was great to see it grow and develop over two years, where we produced a mobile app and accompanying platform to enable Dirt School to teach without geographical boundaries, if you haven’t already got the app, here’s a link.[/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”10″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5we1xlrgz0″][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][vc_column_text responsive_align=”center”]As well as our releases, we have been toiling away and are looking forward to launching more exciting apps and websites very soon.
One of these is Good Food Talks, which will be launched within the next few weeks. This app, a menu reader app for those with visual impairments, was an opportunity to focus entirely on the accessibility aspect of development, something that we are proud to have a unique focus on. More on this soon.
