We developed a bespoke sales tool that made complex AI-driven imaging solutions accessible to healthcare providers. Our platform enabled Blackford’s team to demonstrate 140+ clinical applications effectively, accelerating adoption across diagnostic workflows.

A bespoke tool to streamline sales
The goal of this project was to develop a Navigator Tool that streamlines access to the wealth of AI algorithms available, both for Blackford’s sales team and for external hospital organisations. With so much application data stored in a database, the Navigator tool essentially created a front-end user experience, seamlessly enabling the sales team to select solutions based on customer requirements, with filter-down options and appropriate solution options to meet that specific criteria.
Simplifying the procurement process
Procurement in a hospital environment is often a lengthy and complex process, involving multiple governance, regulatory and technical checks to ensure that solutions are compliant, safe and effective. We developed the Navigator Tool to help simplify some this process. The tool helps consolidate essential governance and regulatory information, giving hospitals a clear view of AI algorithms that are approved for use. It also provides transparency about any potential risks, ensuring that algorithms can work safely with the organisation’s data sets. By addressing these challenges, the Navigator Tool has helped reduce inefficiencies, instilling confidence in both Blackford and their partners.


An intuitive and user-friendly platform
The interface offers a simple and approachable entry point — enabling users to filter by clinical needs, explore approved solutions, and gain a clear understanding of the options available. As conversations progress, the tool reveals richer layers of information, including regulatory detail, deployment requirements, and availability — all within a clean, cohesive experience.

GearedApp supported the full design process of the platform, working to ensure that user experience was considered at every step. From the inception of the vision to planning and breaking it down into agile sprints, GearedApp collaborated closely with Blackford’s product manager and development team to deliver a platform that feels intuitive and user-friendly. As new requirements arose for the tool to also be used by Blackford’s partners, the design was scaled to ensure that external organisations could easily access the platform too.
